Introduction Saadat Hasan Manto
Saadat Hasan Manto was born on May 11, 1912, in Samrala, Punjab, British-ruled India, and died on January 18, 1995 (42 Years ago) in Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. His father's name was Khwaja Ghulam Hasan a judge in the Local Court and her mother's name was His mother, Sardar Begum.
He was a well-known novelist, essayist, screenwriter, Playwright, and short story writer in India during 1912-1948 and in Pakistan from 1934-1955. He got the Notable Awards Nishan-e-Imtiaz in 2012. Saadat Hasan Manto has written 22 short stories and novels in Urdu and also takes part in a series of radio plays. Saadat Hasan Manto has got an early education in a Muslim High School in Amritsar Indian state of Punjab.
